Choricha mamla star Jitendra Joshi will soon feature in a web series titled ‘Betaal’ on Netflix. The official teaser of betaal is now released. Betaal is produced by Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The series is directed by Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan. Betaal is Patrick Graham’s second project in the horror category. Earlier, he worked with Radhika Apte in ‘Ghoul’ for Netflix.
Jitendra Joshi will be playing a prominent role in the web series. Vineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra will also be a part of the series. Betaal story revolves around a century-old British Indian Army officer and his army of zombie breaking loose of Indian police in remote India. Jitendra Joshi’s last release was Priyadarshan Jadhav’s Choricha Mamla. It was a good comedy movie but backlashed due to low theatre allocation. Some major films of Jitendra Joshi includes Ventilator and Mauli.
