Veteran Marathi actor Ravi Patwardhan passed away on Sunday due to cardiac arrest. He breathed his last at the age of 84. He was known for his roles in the films like Ankush (Hindi), Ashya Asawya Suna (Marathi), Tejab (Hindi) and Jyotiba Phule (Marathi).
Ravi Patwardhan was born on September 6, 1937. The actor has acted in more than 150 plays and more than 200 films. One of his notable Hindi film roles came in Tezab. He was also a part of popular TV show ‘Aggabai Sasubai’. Marathi Khabri salutes him as an actor and a human being.
