Today ‘Paani (Water)’ was awarded for ‘Best Feature Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation’ at 66th National Film Awards. Paani is a upcoming movie directed by Adinath Kothare. Star cast includes Marathi Superstar Subodh Bhave along with Adinath Kothare, Kishor Kadam and Girish Joshi. Film is Produced by Priyanka Chopra under the banners of ‘Purple Pebble Pictures’.
Priyanka Chopra was very happy to know that her film won National Award and tweeted, ‘Such an honour to receive the prestigious National Film Awards for Paani (Best Film on Environment Conservation and Preservation). I cannot believe I wasn’t there to receive this! Thank you, Adinath Kothare for making such a wonderful movie for us and receiving the award on our behalf’. Paani is Priyanka’s second Marathi film. Purple Pebble Pictures also produced ‘Ventilator’, which won three National Awards in 2017.
