Mohan Joshi starrer “Senior Citizen” trailer got lakhs of views on Social Media. The film is about the drug menace among Mumbai youngsters and the threat senior citizens face from such addicts. Senior Citizen is directed & written by Ajay Phansekar. Senior Citizen is produced by Madhuri Naganand and Vijaykumar Narang. Music is given by Abhijit Narvekar. Film has a huge starcast list. It includes Mohan Joshi, Smita Jayakar, Amruta Pawar, Suyog Gorhe,Vijay Patkar, Ashish Pawar, Sheetal Kshirsagar, Shruti Boradia, Kiran Tambe, Sneha Chavan, Gaurish Shipurkar, Harshal Pawar, and Amol Jadhav.
Senior Citizen is a thriller film which revolves around the story of a retired major general of Indian Army, Abhay Deshpande (Mohan Joshi). Who is set to fight against the injustice of senior citizens. According to reports, Ajay Phansekar has revealed that the film isn’t like what it appears from the title.
Ashish Pawar will be seen playing negative character (villain) in the film. Ashish has been a popular face of Marathi television & theatre. He is mostly known for his comic roles. He has been honored with Maharashtra Times (MATA) Sanman Award 2019 for his performance in ‘Galti Se Mistake’ drama and Zee Talkies Comedy Award.
