Digpal Lanjekar is back with a new movie. After success of ‘Farzand’ and ‘Fatteshikast’, the makers are back with ‘JungJauhar’. JungJauhar is produced by Ajay Arekar and Aniruddha Arekar under the banners of Almonds Creations. Film release is scheduled in June 2020.
Digpal Lanjekar’s Fatteshikast was the story of India’s first surgical strike on a foreign invader. Now, they are all set to bring the glories of extraordinary warrior, the great ‘Baji Prabhu Deshpande’ on the big screen. Yesterday, we reported ‘Ani… Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’ fame Abhijeet Deshpande’s next film is ‘Paavan Khind‘. And, interestingly both the topics are same. Baji Prabhu Deshpande enabled the escape of Shivaji Maharaj from Panhala fort with just 270 soldiers in 1660. In a battle against nearly 10,000, every member of Baji Prabhu’s army including the general, fell. But not before Shivaji Maharaj had reached the safety of Vishalgadh and fired the cannon to announce his arrival.
Like Paavan Khind, the makers of ‘JungJauhar’ have not yet disclosed the details related to the film. The title poster looks good. Stay tuned with Marathi Khabri for more updates.
